Us

Having loved animals, especially dogs, all my life, I knew working with them was the only thing I wanted to do.
 
Eight years ago I started my dog walking business. This proved to be so successful that five years later I took the step to offer home boarding as well. My ambition was to provide every aspect of care that potential clients would want for their dog in a home from home environment.
 
Business has grown steadily over the years and demand is always increasing. That is how Nic’s Stay and play daycare came about.
 
I wanted somewhere for dogs to go that would be the next best thing to spending time with their owners. I envisaged a place where dogs would love to be, where they would be spoiled for choice about what to do and where to run next! With Nic’s Stay and play Daycare I think I have achieved that goal.

Facilities

Our day care features multiple different rooms to make sure your dog is always entertained.

The beach room:
We have a full room dedicated to our beach theme! With the whole room filled with sand, some kennel beds in place of beach huts, and a windbreaker, we have recreated an indoor beach, that your dog can have fun at on a daily basis!
 
The main room:
As you walk into our day care you will enter by the main room. Here we have a corner area with a sitting room feel, consisting of sodas and a rug, making it a homely environment for the dogs, and allowing another area for them to choose to chill in. We also have a large ball pool which the dogs love!
 
The Quiet room:
We have a separate room which we call the quiet room. This is for the dogs to use when they are tired, and want to take themselves away from the main part of the daycare. It consists of several different types of beds, from cosy soft beds, to raised dog beds, to large dog mattress beds, we have something that will be suitable for every dog!
 
The puppy room:
We have a separate designated room just for puppies. So if you have a very small puppy, or a nervous one, the puppy room will be ideal for them as they can socialise with other dogs of their own age, and grow in confidence.

What we
Offer

Day care

Our daycare offers space for your dog to play, to relax and to socialise under staff supervision.
 
It is fully licensed, purpose built space for your dog.
 
Full day 8am- 6pm | £24
 

Drop off and pickup

We offer a drop off and pick up service from our daycare at the cost of up to £3 a day, dependant on location, covering the areas within a 6 mile radius of our daycare, with additional cost to be confirmed on areas outside of this.

We are currently full for transport, please ring to be added to our waiting list

Dog Walking

We offer both group and one to one walks, depending on the requirements of your dog.

£12 – 1 hour. £9 – half hour.

Group Walks

Our fun filled adventures, offer the opportunity for socialisation on our group walks.

Home Boarding

We offer a home from home boarding arrived for when you go on holiday. They will stay in our home with our own dogs. They will have a minimum of 2 hours walking per day, often a lot more. We can cater for dogs that don’t have the ability to walk as far. We venture out on weekend trips to the beach, Plessey woods etc.
We are fully insured and licensed with the council.
 
£35 per day

Pet visits

Our pet visits are needs based, whatever your pet requires, from feeding to pet sitting. We cater for puppies, cats, old dogs that can no longer walk, small animals and a selection of reptiles.
 
£12 for half hour.
